Fossum went on to lose 8-4 against Matt Roberts (Thunder Bay, ON). Fossum responded with a 5-0 win over Ben Mikkelsen (Thunder Bay, ON). Fossum won 8-4 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT). Fossum went on to lose 6-3 against Koivula. Fossum lost 9-2 to Scott Henderson (Thunder Bay, ON) where Fossum responded with a 5-4 win over Bryan Burgess (Thunder Bay, ON). Fossum won 8-3 against Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 7-6 against Gary Weiss (Thunder Bay, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
