Mike McCarville (Thunder Bay, ON) won 5-4 over Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, ON) in the Final of the TBaytel Mens Major League of Curling, held October 7 - January 16, 2016 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Advancing directly to the semifinals, McCarville won 6-4 over Devin Doran (Thunder Bay, ON) to advance to the championship game. of the 2015 TBaytel Mens Major League of Curling in Thunder Bay, Ontario;

McCarville finished 9-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCarville defeated Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT) 8-2, then won 8-3 against Liane Fossum (Thunder Bay, ON) and 8-6 against Hackner. McCarville won 8-3 against Scott Henderson (Thunder Bay, ON). McCarville went on to lose 6-4 against Colin Koivula (Thunder Bay, ON). McCarville responded with a 5-0 win over Matt Roberts (Thunder Bay, ON). McCarville won 6-4 against Gary Weiss (Thunder Bay, ON), then won 4-3 against Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, ON) and 6-4 against Ben Mikkelsen (Thunder Bay, ON). McCarville won 6-3 against Bryan Burgess (Thunder Bay, ON). McCarville went on to lose 8-4 against Doran in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the TBaytel Mens Major League of Curling Championship title, McCarville earned 11.390 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 82 spots the World Ranking Standings into 160th place overall with 20.992 total points. McCarville ranks 174th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.390 points earned so far this season.
