Ackerman won 7-6 against Scott Bitz (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Ackerman earned 5.985 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the KMC Rocktoberfest, moving up 16 spots the World Ranking Standings into 107th place overall with 20.437 total points. Ackerman ranks 98th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.667 points earned so far this season.
