Roy finished 2-1 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roy defeated Felix Doston (Longue Pointe, QC) 6-4, then won 6-2 against Olivier Laurin (Montreal, QC). Roy went on to lose 5-4 against Felix Asselin (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Roy earned 8.350 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Experience Classic, moving up 26 spots the World Ranking Standings into 119th place overall with 28.033 total points. Roy ranks 90th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.260 points earned so far this season.
