Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC) lost 7-6 to Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) in the Final of the BC CDI Men's Championship, held February 10 - 14, 2016 in Nelson, British Columbia.
 
Geall finished 5-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Geall defeated Daniel Wenzek (Langley, BC) 11-10, then went on to lose 7-6 against Wes Craig (Victoria, BC). Geall responded with a 9-3 win over Chris Ducharme (Creston, BC). Geall won 10-3 against Tom Buchy (Kimberley, BC), then won 6-2 against Michael Johnson (New Westminster, BC) and 5-1 against Glen Jackson (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the BC CDI Men's Championship, Geall take home 13.695 world rankings points, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 58th place overall with 91.253 total points. Geall ranks 66th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 57.611 points earned so far this season.
