Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) won 7-6 over Sean Geall (New Westminster, BC) in the Final of the BC CDI Men's Championship, held February 10 - 14, 2016 in Nelson, British Columbia.
Cotter finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cotter defeated Will House (Richmond, BC) 6-3, then won 9-2 against Chase Martyn (New Westminster, BC) and 7-4 against Glen Jackson (Victoria, BC). Cotter won 5-4 against Michael Johnson (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the BC CDI Men's Championship Championship title, Cotter earned 17.430 world rankings points, remaining in 15th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 311.074 total points. Cotter ranks 13th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 217.124 points earned so far this season.
