Ferris won 7-6 against Jake Higgs (Ottawa, ON). Ferris went on to lose 7-1 against Mike Harris (Toronto, ON). Ferris responded with a 8-6 win over Dayna Deruelle (Brampton, ON). Ferris went on to lose 7-3 against Glenn Howard (Toronto, ON). Ferris lost 8-5 to Travis Fanset (Ingersoll, ON). Ferris lost 8-7 to Wayne Tuck Jr. (Brantford, ON). Ferris lost 9-6 to Ontario's Ian Dickie in their final qualifying round match.

Ferris earned 3.217 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 38th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 2.748 after improving upon their best so far this season. Ferris ranks 50th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 69.756 points earned so far this season.
