In their opening game, Adams defeated Fitzner-Leblanc 6-1, then won 9-5 against Robert Mayhew (Halifax, NS) and 7-1 against Jamie Danbrook (Halifax, NS). Adams went on to lose 8-7 against Doug MacKenzie (Windsor, NS). Adams responded with a 8-5 win over Stevens in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Sobeys Classic, Adams take home 17.051 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN prize, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 28th place overall with 93.705 total points.
