Alex Forrest (Winnipeg, MB) lost 8-2 to Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK) in the Final of the Westwood Inn Classic, held November 13 - 16, 2015 at the Swan River Curling Club in Swan River, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Forrest won 6-3 over Daley Peters (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2015 Westwood Inn Classic in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada; and won 6-1 over Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Westwood Inn Classic in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada;

Forrest finished 2-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Forrest defeated Sam Antila (The Pas, MB) 7-1, then won 5-4 against Curtis McCannell (Pilot Mound, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Westwood Inn Classic, Forrest take home 19.109 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize, moving up 9 spots the World Ranking Standings into 38th place overall with 95.876 total points. Forrest ranks 55th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 36.919 points earned so far this season.
