Ursi Hegner (Uzwil, SUI) qualified for the 2016 Glynhill Ladies International playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Margaretha Sigfridsson (Sundsvall, SWE). of the 2016 Glynhill Ladies International in Glasgow, Scotland;

Hegner finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hegner defeated Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) 7-4, then won 8-7 against Melanie Barbezat (Biel, SUI) and 6-3 against Daniela Driendl (Fï¿½ssen , GER). Hegner won 8-2 against Towe Lundman (Uppsala, SWE), then won 6-4 against Katie Murray (Edinburgh, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
