Jo-Ann Rizzo (Coldwater, ON) qualified for the 2016 ASHAM U.S. Open of Curling playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-6 against Nina Roth (Blaine, USA). of the 2016 ASHAM U.S. Open of Curling in Blaine, Minnesota, United States;

Rizzo finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rizzo defeated Minnesota's Courtney George 8-2, then won 7-3 against Brett Barber (Biggar, SK) and 5-2 against Roth. Rizzo went on to lose 7-2 against Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
