Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB) qualified for the 2016 ASHAM U.S. Open of Curling playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 4-3 against Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN). of the 2016 ASHAM U.S. Open of Curling in Blaine, Minnesota, United States;

Carey finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. .
