To advance to the championship game, Ontario's Julie Tippin won 6-4 over Ontario's Julie Hastings in the semifinals

In their opening game, Ontario's Julie Tippin defeated Ontario's Katie Cottrill 6-5, then went on to lose 6-5 against Ontario's Cathy Auld. Ontario's Julie Tippin responded with a 6-5 win over Ontario's Katie Cottrill in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Listowel Libro Women's Classic Championship title, Ontario's Julie Tippin earned 18.392 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque.
