Breen finished 5-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . Breen won 1-0 against Shannon Tatlock (Moncton, NB), then won 1-0 against Shelly Bradley (Charlottetown, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel, Breen take home 16.088 world rankings points along with the $1,400CDN prize, moving up 17 spots the World Ranking Standings into 48th place overall with 58.253 total points. Breen ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 47.313 points earned so far this season.
