Brewster lost 9-7 to John Shuster (Duluth, USA) where Brewster responded with a 7-3 win over Aku Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Brewster won 7-6 against Alexander Baumann (Fuessen, GER). Brewster went on to lose 7-6 against Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN). Brewster responded with a 6-4 win over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
