Kauste went on to lose 7-5 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Kauste earned 13.217 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. Kauste move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 11.144 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 26th overall with 190.090 total points on the World Ranking Standings. WOLFVILLE, N.S. — Edmonton’s Team Selena Sturmay solidified a berth into the 2025 Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials, presented by Connect Hearing, with a 9-4 win over Team Kayla MacMillan (Victoria) in the third and final game of the women’s best-of-three final at the 2025 Home Hardware Canadian Pre-Trials on Sunday afternoon.
