Stjerne responded with a 9-2 win over Aku Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Stjerne went on to lose 8-6 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Stjerne responded with a 9-1 win over Alexander Baumann (Fuessen, GER). Stjerne won 7-5 against Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN). Stjerne went on to lose 8-5 against SooHyuk Kim (Gangwon, KOR). Stjerne responded with a 9-1 win over Alexey Tselousov (Moscow, RUS). Stjerne won 7-6 against Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI), then won 7-6 against Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) and 8-7 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the World Men's Curling Championship, Stjerne take home 58.154 world rankings points. For week 34 of the event schedule, Stjerne did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
