Casey lost 8-5 to Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). Casey lost 9-4 to Glenn Howard (Toronto, ON). Casey lost 7-4 to Mike Kennedy (Moncton, NB) where Casey responded with a 7-4 win over Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT). Casey went on to lose 11-7 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). Casey lost 8-3 to Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Casey earned 6.334 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 21st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 2.874 after improving upon their best so far this season. Casey ranks 38th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 90.326 points earned so far this season.
