After advancing directly to the championship game, Jeremy Harty (Calgary, AB) lost 7-4 to Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Alberta Junior Men's Provincials, held January 2 - 6, 2016 in Wainwright, Alberta.

In their opening game, Harty defeated Tyler Lautner (Calgary, AB) 10-3, then won 12-1 against Colton Goller (Lethbridge, AB) and 8-6 against Lucas Bartz (Ellerslie, AB). Harty won 9-2 against Lane Knievel (Manning, AB), then won 8-7 against Glenn Venance (Edmonton, AB) and 9-5 against Sturmay. Harty won 15-4 against Lyndin Stone (Manning, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
