Driendl lost 7-4 to Erika Brown (Madison, USA). Driendl lost 8-3 to Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS). Driendl lost 8-4 to Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN) in their final qualifying round match.

Driendl earned 7.606 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. Driendl move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 7.051 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 86th overall with 48.639 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
