Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI) won 9-6 over Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in the Final of the Ford World Women's Curling Championship, held March 19 - 27, 2016 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
 
Feltscher finished 9-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Feltscher defeated Erika Brown (Madison, USA) 5-4, then went on to lose 7-4 against Chelsea Carey (Calgary, CAN). Feltscher responded with a 7-6 win over Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN). Feltscher won 9-6 against Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN), then won 9-2 against Daniela Driendl (F�ssen , GER) and 6-5 against Margaretha Sigfridsson (Sundsvall, SWE). Feltscher won 7-4 against Fujisawa, then won 7-6 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO). Feltscher went on to lose 6-3 against Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS). Feltscher responded with a 5-4 win over Federica Apollonio (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Feltscher won 7-5 against Ji-Sun Kim (gyeonggido, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Ford World Women's Curling Championship Championship title, Feltscher earned 70.989 world rankings points, remaining in 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 69.375 after improving upon their best so far this season. Feltscher ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 198.930 points earned so far this season.
