Carey responded with a 9-4 win over Margaretha Sigfridsson (Sundsvall, SWE). Carey won 7-5 against Daniela Driendl (F�ssen , GER), then won 5-4 against Federica Apollonio (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Carey went on to lose 8-7 against Ji-Sun Kim (gyeonggido, KOR). Carey responded with a 7-1 win over Oona Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Carey went on to lose 11-2 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN). Carey responded with a 9-4 win over Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Carey earned 30.424 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Ford World Women's Curling Championship, remaining in 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 12.865 after improving upon their best so far this season. Carey ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 308.312 points earned so far this season.
