Tirinzoni finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Nicole Butler-Rohland (Ottawa, ON) 8-3, then won 5-3 against Varnes and 7-3 against Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
