Japan's Tasuhiro Morita 9-5, then went on to lose 6-5 against Japan's Hiroshi Fukui. Tsukamoto lost 7-4 to Japan's Ryo Ogihara. Tsukamoto lost 10-1 to Japan's Junpei Kanda where Tsukamoto responded with a 10-0 win over Japan's Kenji Iwasaki in their final qualifying round match.
