Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau PwC, SUI) run at the 2016 Humpty's Champions Cup came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-4 loss to Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2016 Humpty's Champions Cup in Edmonton, Alberta; Tirinzoni advanced through the quarterfinals with a 9-4 win over Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN).

Tirinzoni finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni lost 4-3 to Ogasawara, droppimg another game, 5-4 to Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) where Tirinzoni responded with a 8-6 win over Chelsea Carey (Calgary, AB). Tirinzoni won 9-3 against Kristin Clarke (Chester, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

Tirinzoni earned 40.349 world rankings points for their Top 4 finish in the Humpty's Champions Cup, remaining in 5th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 5.317 after improving upon their best so far this season. Tirinzoni ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 374.300 points earned so far this season.
