Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau PwC, SUI) won 6-5 over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1, held September 8 - 13, 2015 in Paradise, Newfoundland / Labrador. To advance to the championship game, Tirinzoni won 9-7 over Tracy Fleury (Sudbury, NONT) in the semifinals of the 2015 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Paradise, Newfoundland / Labrador; and won 6-1 over Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Paradise, Newfoundland / Labrador;
 
Tirinzoni finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni lost 5-4 to Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO), then responded with a 7-1 win over Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI). Tirinzoni won 9-7 against Fleury. Tirinzoni went on to lose 9-5 against EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 Championship title, Tirinzoni earned 75.950 world rankings points along with the $23,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 5th place overall with 386.127 total points. Tirinzoni ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 115.427 points earned so far this season.
