To advance to the championship game, Homan won 6-3 over EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR) in the semifinals of the 2015 GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1 in Paradise, Newfoundland / Labrador; and won 7-3 over Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in the quarterfinals.
Homan finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Julie Hastings (Thornhill, ON) 7-6, then won 8-3 against Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI) and 7-0 against Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB). Homan won 6-2 against Val Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the GSOC Tour Challenge Tier 1, Homan take home 59.675 world rankings points along with the $17,500CDN prize, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 1st place overall with 498.857 total points. Homan ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 124.697 points earned so far this season.
