Scott MacLeod (Edinburgh, SCO) qualified for the 2015 Edinburgh International playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 3-2 against Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED). of the 2015 Edinburgh International in Edinburgh, Scotland, Scotland;

MacLeod finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacLeod defeated James Pougher (Deeside, WAL) 5-3, then won 5-4 against Simon Biedermann (Gstaad, SUI) and 6-5 against David Sik (Prague, CZE). MacLeod went on to lose 7-1 against Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO). MacLeod responded with a 6-3 win over Tomi Rantamaki (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.
