Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) won 6-1 over Ontario's Mark Bice in the Final of the Challenge Chateau Cartier de Gatineau, held October 22 - 25, 2015 at the Buckingham Curling Club in Buckingham, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Gushue won 6-3 over Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2015 Challenge Chateau Cartier de Gatineau in Buckingham, Quebec, Canada; and won 8-2 over Guy Hemmings (Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, QC) in the quarterfinals.
 
Gushue finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue defeated Doug Brewer (Cornwall, ON) 8-0, then won 10-4 against Ontario's Jake Walker and 8-3 against Pierre-Luc Morissette (Saguenay, QC). Gushue won 6-3 against Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Challenge Chateau Cartier de Gatineau Championship title, Gushue earned 58.437 world rankings points along with the $12,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 694.298 total points. Gushue ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 312.398 points earned so far this season.
