Muirhead went on to lose 7-5 against Tirinzoni. Muirhead lost 5-2 to Feltscher where Muirhead responded with a 5-2 win over Paetz in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the European Masters Championship title, Muirhead earned 11.060 world rankings points along with the $6,476CDN first prize cheque. Muirhead move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 5.22 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 2nd overall with 396.377 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
