Hayden Forrester (Winnipeg, MB) finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Forrester defeated Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) 6-2, then won 8-4 against Andrew Hodgson (Airdrie, AB) and 11-3 against Luc Violette (Seattle, WA). Forrester went on to lose 6-4 against Andrew Stopera (Ardsley, NY). Forrester responded with a 10-3 win over Matthew McCrady (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
