Nielsen lost 10-3 to Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN) where Nielsen responded with a 8-5 win over Aileen Sormunen (Blaine, USA). Nielsen won 7-1 against Kristin Skaslien (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
