Jones went on to lose 8-6 against Margaretha Sigfridsson (Skelleftea, SWE). Jones responded with a 7-1 win over Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN). Jones won 7-5 against Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS), then won 10-2 against Aileen Sormunen (Blaine, USA) and 8-7 against Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN). Jones won 9-3 against Kristin Skaslien (Oslo, NOR). Jones went on to lose 7-6 against Paetz. Jones responded with a 7-5 win over Daniela Driendl (Fuessen, GER). Jones won 8-5 against Ayumi Ogasawara (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
