Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, UK) 8-7, then went on to lose 7-1 against David Murdoch (Stirling, SCO). Mouat responded with a 7-0 win over David Mundell (Perth, SCO). Mouat won 8-5 against David Edwards (Aberdeen, SCO). Mouat went on to lose 9-7 against Ewan MacDonald (Perth, SCO). Mouat responded with a 6-3 win over Kyle Smith (Perth, SCO). Mouat won 11-5 against Scotland's Ross McCleary, then won 7-4 against Cameron Bryce (Dumfries, SCO) and 8-4 against Stuart Taylor (Forfar, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Mouat earned 4.720 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Scottish Curling Championships, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 42nd place overall with 42.029 total points. Mouat ranks 42nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 24.540 points earned so far this season.
