Casey lost 9-6 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). Casey lost 7-6 to Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) where Casey responded with a 8-4 win over Jeremy Mallais (Saint John, NB). Casey won 9-5 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT), then won 5-2 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Casey earned 14.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 19th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 10.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Casey ranks 13th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 88.530 points earned so far this season.
