Jacobs finished 7-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobs defeated Chris Glibota (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) 6-1, then won 7-4 against Jeff Currie (Thunder Bay, NONT) and 7-3 against Mike Jakubo (Sudbury, NONT). Jacobs won 9-4 against Bryan Burgess (Kakabeka Falls, NONT), then won 9-3 against Ben Mikkelsen (Thunder Bay, NONT) and 6-4 against Hackner. Jacobs won 6-3 against Dylan Johnston (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Northern Ontario Travelers Mens Championship Championship title, Jacobs earned 7.120 world rankings points, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 453.120 total points. Jacobs ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 189.120 points earned so far this season.
