Strong went on to lose 7-5 against Lauren Mann (Montreal , QC) in their final qualifying round match.
Strong earned 8.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 70th place overall with 21.000 total points. Strong ranks 71st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.000 points earned so far this season.
