Sweeting won 7-2 against Heather Strong (St. John's, NL), then won 6-5 against Suzanne Birt (Charlottetown, PEI) and 10-5 against Patti Knezevic (Prince George, BC). Sweeting won 8-6 against Lauren Mann (Montreal , QC), then won 8-5 against Julie Hastings (Thornhill, ON) and 7-6 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, CAN).
