Walter3-3 at 2015 Weatherford Curling Classic

Mark Walter (Estevan, SK) finished 3-3 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walter lost 6-1 to Scott Bitz (Regina, SK), then responded with a 8-6 win over Ray Sharp (Yorkton, SK). Walter won 7-5 against Kevin Wunderlin (Biel, SUI), then won 3-1 against Jason Jacobson (Saskatoon, SK). Walter went on to lose 4-2 against Dean Joanisse (New Westminster, BC). Walter lost 7-4 to Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Walter earned 1.829 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 15 of the event schedule, Walter did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Walter ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
