Jason Ackerman (Regina, SK) qualified for the 2015 Weatherford Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-1 against Dean Joanisse (New Westminster, BC). of the 2015 Weatherford Curling Classic in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Ackerman finished 4-2 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ackerman defeated Bruce Korte (Saskatoon, SK) 5-4, then went on to lose 7-2 against Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK). Ackerman responded with a 7-5 win over Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK). Ackerman won 9-4 against Brent Gedak (Estevan, SK). Ackerman went on to lose 6-3 against William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB). Ackerman responded with a 7-1 win over Kris Keating (Kronau, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Ackerman earned 12.196 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Weatherford Curling Classic, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 65th place overall with 71.294 total points. Ackerman ranks 41st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 59.524 points earned so far this season.
