To advance to the championship game, Birt won 10-4 over Kathy O'Rourke (Charlottetown , PEI) in the semifinals of the 2015 PEI Scotties in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada;

Birt responded with a 8-7 win over Dolan. Birt won 8-4 against O'Rourke, then won 7-6 against Dolan in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the PEI Scotties Championship title, Birt earned 4.000 world rankings points, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 74th place overall with 17.975 total points. Birt ranks 80th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.875 points earned so far this season.
