Kean won 9-4 against Aaron Squires (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). Kean went on to lose 10-5 against Rob Rumfeldt (Guelph, ON). Kean lost 9-8 to Jon St. Denis (Listowel, ON) where Kean responded with a 10-5 win over Peter Corner (Toronto, ON). Kean won 9-3 against Ian MacAulay (Ottawa, ON), then won 6-2 against Epping and 6-5 against Cory Heggestad (Markdale, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Recharge with Milk Ontario Tankard Championship title, Kean earned 14.480 world rankings points, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 20th place overall with 102.564 total points. Kean ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 53.100 points earned so far this season.
