Kean won 9-3 against Ian MacAulay (Ottawa, ON), then won 6-2 against Epping and 6-5 against Cory Heggestad (Markdale, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Recharge with Milk Ontario Tankard Championship title, Kean earned 14.480 world rankings points, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 20th place overall with 102.564 total points.
