To advance to the championship game, Strong won 6-4 over Stephanie Guzzwell (St. John's, NL) in the semifinals of the 2015 Newfoundland & Labrador Scotties in St. John's, Newfoundland / Labrador, Canada;

Strong finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Strong defeated Guzzwell 8-3, then won 6-5 against Marie Christianson (St. John's, NL) and 9-4 against Stacie Curtis (St. John's, NL). Strong won 9-2 against Kelli Turpin (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Newfoundland & Labrador Scotties Championship title, Strong earned 4.000 world rankings points, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 77th place overall with 13.000 total points. Strong ranks 91st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.000 points earned so far this season.
