Madison Bear (Wayland, MA) lost 10-6 to Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA) in the Final of the USA Junior Womens National Championships, held January 17 - 24, 2015 in Devils Lake, North Dakota.

Bear finished 6-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bear lost 7-4 to Christensen, then responded with a 9-4 win over Courtney Osbakken (Duluth, MN). Bear won 10-7 against Abigayle Lindgren (Grand Forks, ND), then won 5-3 against Sidney Schroeder (Midland, MI) and 5-4 against Cora Farrell (Fairbanks, AK). Bear went on to lose 11-5 against Melissa Runing (Mankato, MN). Bear lost 11-6 to Wisconsin's Tina Persinger where Bear responded with a 11-4 win over Sarah Calcutt (Highland Park, IL). Bear won 7-5 against Elizabeth Cousins (Wayland, MA) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the USA Junior Womens National Championships, Bear take home 5.000 world rankings points, moving up 126 spots the World Ranking Standings into 129th place overall with 5.000 total points. Bear ranks 93rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.000 points earned so far this season.
