Bear won 10-7 against Abigayle Lindgren (Grand Forks, ND), then won 5-3 against Sidney Schroeder (Midland, MI) and 5-4 against Cora Farrell (Fairbanks, AK). Bear went on to lose 11-5 against Melissa Runing (Mankato, MN). Bear lost 11-6 to Wisconsin's Tina Persinger where Bear responded with a 11-4 win over Sarah Calcutt (Highland Park, IL). Bear won 7-5 against Elizabeth Cousins (Wayland, MA) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the USA Junior Womens National Championships, Bear take home 5.000 world rankings points, moving up 126 spots the World Ranking Standings into 129th place overall with 5.000 total points.
