In their opening game, Middaugh defeated Megan Balsdon (Mississauga, ON) 9-5, then won 9-2 against Clancy Grandy (Mississauga, ON) and 11-5 against Shannon Kee (Waterloo, ON). Middaugh won 6-4 against Jacqueline Harrison (Brantford, ON), then won 8-3 against Rhonda Varnes (Ottawa, ON). Middaugh went on to lose 8-4 against Caitlin Romain (Vancouver, BC). Middaugh responded with a 6-5 win over Allison Flaxey (Listowel, ON). Middaugh went on to lose 6-4 against Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON). Middaugh responded with a 9-5 win over Hastings in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties, Middaugh take home 6.900 world rankings points, remaining in 9th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 2.91 after improving upon their best so far this season. Middaugh ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 115.700 points earned so far this season.
