Madison Bear (Wayland, MA) finished 5-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bear defeated Brielynn Twitchell (Rochester, NY) 16-4, then won 8-4 against Elizabeth Cousins (Wayland, MA) and 11-2 against Ellen Schoder (Ardsley, NY). Bear won 7-5 against Cousins. Bear went on to lose 7-6 against Schoder. Bear responded with a 10-3 win over Twitchell in their final qualifying round match.
