Shannon Birchard (Winnipeg, MB) lost 6-5 to Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Manitoba Junior Womens Championship, held December 26 - 31, 2014 at the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada.
 
Birchard finished 7-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Birchard defeated Kaitlyn Payette (Brandon, MB) 10-2, then won 9-1 against Hanne Jensen (Dauphin, MB) and 12-3 against Stacy Sime (Dauphin, MB). Birchard won 9-2 against Ashley Groff (Elmwood, MB), then won 7-5 against Jennifer Klapp (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-0 against Rachel Burtnyk (Winnipeg, MB). Birchard won 9-8 against Christine MacKay (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
