Malmi went on to lose 9-6 against Hellsten. Malmi lost 8-5 to Norri. Malmi lost 7-4 to Puustinen where Malmi responded with a 8-7 win over Hellsten. Malmi won 8-2 against Norri. Malmi went on to lose 11-2 against Puustinen in their final qualifying round match.

Malmi earned 2.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Finnish Women's Championship, moving up 50 spots the World Ranking Standings into 177th place overall with 2.800 total points. Malmi ranks 157th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.000 points earned so far this season.
