Scott DeCap (Kamloops, BC) finished 2-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, DeCap defeated Darren Nelson (Kamloops, BC) 7-6, then won 6-4 against Kevin Geistlinger (Vernon, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the BC CDI Okanagan Playdown Championship title, DeCap earned 2.500 world rankings points. For week 16 of the event schedule, DeCap did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 91st to 92nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 14.750 total points. DeCap ranks 84th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.750 points earned so far this season.
