Kristy Lewis (New Westminster, BC) finished 6-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lewis defeated Lindsay Hudyma (New Westminster, BC) 6-4, then went on to lose 8-2 against Kelly Shimizu (Richmond, BC). Lewis responded with a 8-6 win over Lynne Noble (Qualicum, BC). Lewis won 9-3 against Julie Herndier (Surrey, BC), then won 10-4 against Amy Gibson (Vancouver, BC) and 6-5 against Stephanie Prinse (Chilliwack, BC). Lewis won 10-8 against Shimizu in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the BC Scotties Open Event #2, Lewis take home 1.750 world rankings points, moving up 125 spots the World Ranking Standings into 179th place overall with 1.750 total points. Lewis ranks 125th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.750 points earned so far this season.
